Where do the rules for the constructions of minds come from other than the senses, and where do those rules come from other than reality? While it’s possible some neuro structures are meta, as in neuro influencing neuro, the chronological border zone between non-living/living and non-conscious/conscious organization probably should be explored because it seems possible that at these border zones there’s a parallelism of structures. Aren’t you the one that said to me that everyone organizes on a similar level? It might be foolish to draw mystical assumptions from it, but regarding order it’s not unreasonable.

I’m not the first person to have this image fixed to my skin, and I won’t be the last. Still, you may be scratching your head wondering what it is. I’ll explain. It’s Charles Darwin’s sketch of the Tree of Life from Origin of Species. As an Atheist, it is a wonderful thing to be able to call myself a person of faith. The image from Charles Darwin’s book is a tidy summation of my world view and spirituality. It illustrates my deep faith in energy and its’ ability to pass life from one life form to another. The sketch is also a nod to my favorite physical science, biology.
